Could you post a sample chart or link of the set-up that you use? Thanks.

Fast MACD settings destroy accuracy.. MA's are used for early entry.. this thread is pathetic

  3. False, do not be constrained to only conventional thinking. Why limit the possibilities?

True.. tested.. failed to pass muster... it's safe to say Mr Appel knew what he was doing

MACD FAST, DEMA, TEMA, STOCHS... all very fast but by their very nature have to sacrifice accuracy to achieve that speed

Nothing esoteric about this, it's common knowledge

  5. I haven't read the previous pages of this thread or the other one referenced by it but everyone does realize that a MACD zero line crossover is the same thing as an MA crossover. Right?

    No.. it's just you

One more time for amateur hour..

an MA cross represents the trend.. the zero line cross represents momentum.. therefore an MA cross to the upside which starts below the zero line merely means the trend has turned bullish but has no momentum behind it yet.. a true bullish MA cross occurs above the zero line and vice versa for shorts

  7. The probability of this excellent advice having any impact on its intended target falls somewhere in the neighborhood of nil. Nice to see you posting again.

Shouldn't you be getting your geriatric guru a drink with a little umbrella in it cabana boy?

Your journal thread is laughable.. not a single poster from there has the guts to post in the P/L thread and your own guru (who has to live off his girlfriend) lost 26% in a trading contest the only time he has ever gone on record :p

  9. We don't add umbrellas to the Kool-Aid ...

5 parts Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit
    1 part Tangerine
    3 parts Stolichnaya Brand Vodka

You don't manage to add any profit either :p

The journal is an exercise in futility run by an amateur that doesn't have the creativity to create his own method or the brains to realize it doesn't work.. a follower.. or in market terms.. the perennial seeker/loser
