Big rally. The Clintonites had it right. In every must win swing state Hillary destroyed Obama in the primary.
Biden COULD step aside for a perfectly timed "Hillary bounce". NASHUA, New Hampshire (CNN) â Joe Biden told supporters at a town hall Wednesday afternoon that Barack Obama might have been better off choosing Hillary Clinton as his running mate. âMake no mistake about this, Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Letâs get that straight,â Biden said testily when a voter told Biden he was glad the Delaware senator had been chosen and not Clinton. âSheâs a truly close personal friend and she is qualified to be President of the United States of America, sheâs easily qualified to be Vice President of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me,â he continued.
It sure has. Nice call on it by you y-day btw. So much for the Dems calling the nomination of Palin a cynical gesture of gender politics.
{off topic} Oil @ 100.87. Today's call is long crude. The risk/reward dynamic is bullish for oil over the next 2-3 days. Ike might have a trick in store which could cause a decent spike upward. We are very very unlikely to see any large spike downward during this time frame. {end off topic} I think that the Dems will take a long hard look at repatriating the recent outflow of support, cynicism be damned. The departure of Biden is still underpriced on Intrade. Hillary might just end up with 'ace in the hole' status... This could get interesting.
