  1. Hey stock trad3r! A while back you posted that you have an internet site with a positive cash flow. How does one go about "getting" an internet site? Do you have someone set it up for you, or is it a DIY project?

Thanks in advance for any info you are willing to pony up.

    G'day!

been lurking for months, as I have been on this train for over a year. done a ton of dd regarding bhph, the industry, as well as the concerns the owners have regarding financing.

For all the bashers out there, here is a little intel you may want to be aware of.

    U.S. Supreme Court
    CARPENTER v. UNITED STATES, 484 U.S. 19 (1987)
    484 U.S. 19

CARPENTER ET AL. v. UNITED STATES
CERTIORARI TO THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE SECOND CIRCUIT

    No. 86-422.

    Argued October 7, 1987
    Decided November 16, 1987

Petitioner Winans was coauthor of a Wall Street Journal investment advice column which, because of its perceived quality and integrity, had an impact on the market prices of the stocks it discussed. Although he was familiar with the Journal's rule that the column's contents were the Journal's confidential information prior to publication, Winans entered into a scheme with petitioner Felis and another stockbroker who, in exchange for advance information from Winans as to the timing and contents of the column, bought and sold stocks based on the column's probable impact on the market and shared their profits with Winans. On the basis of this scheme, Winans and Felis were convicted of violations of the federal securities laws and of the federal mail and wire fraud statutes, 18 U.S.C. 1341, 1343, which prohibit the use of the mails or of electronic transmissions to execute "any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises"; petitioner Carpenter was convicted of aiding and abetting. The Court of Appeals affirmed.

I posted this to prove a point. Just because you read something in the newspaper by a "reputable" journalist, doens't make what he/she rights true.

If anyone in this room would like to begin a meaningful discussion, I am sure the rest of the room would be grateful for any information that can be learned.

  4. You must be refering to the article in the vancouver paper.I noticed that there didn't seem to be any research done on the company, just a slash at the people no longer involved with the company, and to tie the two together.
The writer even neglected to mention a huge acquisition that was the most recent news,he obviously never even checked the companies news releases(or had he?).

no, I'm sure he didn't, or if so, wasn't interested in reporting the truth, just a smear campaign. He contradicted himself multiple times even within his own articles.

  6. Like I said,I read the article too.I agree with what you say.Isn't the paper liable for such malicious falsehoods, or does the liability rest with the writer?
At any rate they sure did cause the shareprice to implode. The stock looks to be comming around, volumes are down prices are up.

    to stock777,

I know from what I've read and seen that people say to ignore you, but I'm game.

You seem to want to slam this business, yet you you don't seem to know it very well, if at all.

Check out the NIADA site, and see for yourself. Used car sales accounted for over $470 billion in revenue last year, with the BHPH industry $80 billion of that.

Sure sounds like a crapy business to me.

Not all used car sales are the creepy slimmy lot you make them out to be.
