besides rumours/speculation, where do people get the first-hand information about M&A/takeover situations when they are announced? I know that a company has to do a press release on the internet/edgar, but how do you come to know that a certain company is annouced to be taken over besides when you see it in the news? how do you screen the list of takeover plays each day?
