Here’s your problem with Kavanaugh, even trump said he believes her and found her credible. This is why there is the need for further investigation. Sorry if your little feelings are hurt about that but the American people will not accept Kavanaugh without this.

And yes, it is always about the will of the people. Kavanaugh never really had a window to get through because he was polling so low. That’s political science.

As to Gorsuch, he got through but you’re not wrong about democrats being sore over Garland. Don’t expect support from someone you stole something from. The court is out of balance due to impropriety on the part of republicans.

But this isn’t what is holding up Kavanaugh. His unpopularity and credible allegations is what is holding him up.

  2. Sorry, but that dog don't hunt.

Trump most definitely did not say that he believes the most crucial element of her testimony.......ie, that Kavanaugh attempted to rape and potentially kill her.

Both Trump and Kavanaugh himself said that they believe that she could be suffering from some past trauma but that it did not involve Kavanaugh. See if you can spot the difference between what you said and I said.

So dont try out your Corey Booker impersonation with me.

I also believe she is fucked up and struggling with major problems and could remember just about anything at anytime. Hopefully, she can find the time to vacation a little- maybe fly to Hawaii or Australia- maybe use up some of the frequent flyer miles she has accumulated.

This is exactly the case. They cannot afford to have a conservative replace Kennedy especially with the possibility of Trump replacing Bader-Ginsburg who basically has food falling out of her mouth.

I have no problem with disagreement. One thing I would add is that you may be right about there being affidavits from others who were at the party, other than Kavanaugh, Judge, or Ford, but whether they are formal affidavits or simply statements, they are not exculpatory. Far from it!

There were, we've been told, only a few at that party, other than Judge, Kavanaugh and Ford. However everything that I have heard regarding statements that these others have made, whether in affidavits or otherwise, indicate Kavanaugh was lying when he said, over and over again, in his testimony that these others said "it didn't happen." What they actually said was they can't remember the party, or that they have no knowledge of a sexual assault. Kavanaugh, however, in his testimony said repeatedly that these others, including Leland Keyser, Fords friend, said, "It didn't happen."

It would be wrong to say that this was an incorrect assertion on Kavanaugh's part. It was in fact a lie, because it strains credulity to believe Kavanaugh was not aware of exactly what Leland Ingham Keyser said. Keyser said she doesn't recall the party where the alleged assault took place, but she believes her friend. That's a far cry from saying "it didn't happen," which is what Kavanaugh conveyed to the Senate Judicial Committee over and over again in his testimony under oath.

According to the only information I have, Kavanaugh lied repeatedly about the present day account of others at this party 36 years ago. I simply have no choice other than to conclude he is not a suitable candidate for the Supreme court. Maybe something will turn up in the FBI investigation coming up that would change my mind, but i can't think of what that would be.

If that dog didn’t hunt there wouldn’t be an fbi investigation into the credible allegations ordered by Trump.

  7. Stop being an idiot.

Trump ordered the investigation because he needs the votes of a handful of moderates who are holding out and they told him they needed to see that to even have a chance of getting their vote. It has absolutely zero to do with Trump believing any allegations.

So then the dog does hunt. And Trump did say she was credible and believable.

    Anyway, it’s over.

  9. I wonder how long until some more crazy women surface claiming Gorsuch abused them? Then dems will demand another investigation blah blah blah...And shouldn't they take another look at Clarence Thomas, using the new standard of you are required to believe any claim a woman makes, no matter how absurd.

This is the kind of joke country you get when the left controls so many important institutions, eg education, media, entertainment.

It is comforting to think that it will be self-correcting, ie that normal people will react in horror and start electing responsible adults. Unfortunately, that is not the way it has worked historically. Once the left takes over, they rig the system to ensure they retain control. We are seeing that now with the coordinated censorship and deplatforming of conservatives on social media. We see it in their refusal to accept the results of a fair election and in their increasingly violent, hysterical approach to issues as solemn as confirming a Supreme Court justice.
