I asked you what percentage gain you would have if you start at zero and made .05.

M.W. got the correct answer like two pages ago, but let's watch you puzzle this one out in your foreith graide math

 

If you're talking about pennies then its 500% if you're talking about dollars its 5%. It depends on what you're talking about. Which you haven't made clear.

 

5000% = 5/0.1
50,000% = 5/0.01
500,000% = 5/0.001
5,000,000 = 5/0.0001
50,000,000% = 5/0.00001

As we can see …
The closer we get from zero,
The higher the percent return becomes.

Therefore towards zero,
The returns goes to + infinity.

But it’s not our money,
So we’ve earned nothing.

The point of this whole diatribe was that Tokens and M.W. were fighting about what the percentage gain was on something that goes up from .01 to .05. The correct answer was 400%. The retort what that no, it is 500%. That was incorrect. 400% damnit!

Here's a simpler way, in a graph.

.01 to .02 - 100%

.01 to .03 - 200 %

.01 to .04 - 300 %

.01 to .05 - 400%

 

No because if it has already gone up to .01 then thats already 100%. If it goes up another .04 then thats 500%

How someone can deny this is beyond me. This is simple 1st grade math we're talking about
