everywhere i read that the past two days were the lowest volume trading days in 2008. but i do not see any explanations for why this is so. sure, this is summer doldrums but there must be a reason for the thin trading sessions this week, expected to be thin volume the rest of the week?
yes it happens throughout the year...its called labor day,summer,thanksgiving,yomkippur,easter,xmas holidays...who cares its not end of the world or trading. You can trade the other 240 trading days no problem.
