lowest commision on ES please

  1. Ah, yes, the simplistic world ingnoring realities.

To the note: I trade "remotely" as I am hosting in a data center in chicago.

I STILL am afraid of the shit hitting the fan, so to say. Power failure, CPU failure, some stupid crash. Stuff like that happens. Been there, seen that. Including a big trading company with 1500 people not having risk management for nearly a week due to - ah - issues in some calculation grid.

And I would LOVE to have a backup system being able to go in, get a list of ALL orders and ALL Positions and just wipe the plate clean (close all orders, kill all positions then).

Not totally trivial with TT, though. Not as a true independant Watchdog. Not at all the time - if things get problematic in the wrong moment, I may loose information.

That's a bit rich coming from you Netsphincture

I was just wondering when you were going to apologise for calling me an idiot just for asking if $1 RT's were possible on the ES (all in costs)

    gentle reminder

exchange fees 27.5c per side. (lease a seat qualify for 23.5c exchange discount on 10,000 pm volume)
    commission 15c per side

    TOTAL = 42.5c per side

ALL IN RT cost = 85c

Cost of Seat Lease around $600 pm.
Cost of CQG software $395 pm. (no round trip cost)

and now you are striking out at another poster off topic.

you gotta love a public forum!.

  3. I am curious as whether there is anyone on ET who can post a statement that shows an all in $.85 RT for ES. I am not saying ES can't be traded at that price or that it is not traded at that price but what I am saying is that very few that are on here searching for good rates are even close.

I trade retail, no memberships etc. and pay just under $4.00. Since I no longer scalp the rate is fine for me.

if you need verification just contact the CME and deep discount trading, you will need to do 10,000 volume per month.

  5. I am not asking if it is possible rather I am asking if anyone here has actually done it. Horses of dramatically different colors.

  6. I work for a prop firm, and after globex rebates kick in, I'm sub .24 cents all in R/T.. so under .12 a side...

fyi, my daily volume tends to be north of 25,000 sides

  7. Frankly I did not expect to hear a number under $.75 R/T. Assuming you are happy with the split the numbers are dynamite.

This is because yourself and Nettecture are from a retail environment you have not seen people trade size in a true prop.

Nettecture must be choking on his breakfast, 1st he calls me an idiot for asking for sub $1 RT's and then he says the lowest rates are not available via a prop firm.

I am not surprised to see such low rates at a prop, if the firm is a clearing member, equity member or member approved funds they will be enjoying RT CME fees of 19c as long as they qualify for the max discount which Mr Neuron clearlly does on his own.

Mr Neuron could be a member individual in his own right with that volume or the prop firm could be the member.

It just shows you when people are scalping for a tick here and there the odds are stacked against people paying $4 RT retails costs.

Thanks Mr Neuron for posting to confirm what I originally thought.

  9. Since I don't scalp commission costs are not central to my ability to make my plan work.
