We should all be reminded the title of this thread is a lie. I was compelled to bring a quote from this thread. Berkeley found Strong Dem skews strongly to lower I.Q. while Strong Rep or Independent near R skews to higher I.Q. https://www.quora.com/Who-tends-to-have-a-higher-IQ-Democrats-or-Republicans http://sda.berkeley.edu/sdaweb/anal...s&sec508=false&weightedn=on&weightlist=COMPWT

Typical Trumptard liar "Berkeley found" The survey identifies PARTY affiliation, not political ideology and stretches from 1972 onwards when a large number of conservatives in the South identified as Democrat. Thanks for confirming your low IQ in this very thread, we appreciate your display of ignorance Trump University graduate.
Typical of exGOPer - in many previous threads he claims that before 1972 and the civil rights era of the 1960s most conservatives in the South identified as Democrats and since 1972 election of Nixon with the Southern Strategy all of these conservatives switched to being Republican (we won't mention that Nixon won every state in the union except for Massachusetts taking 520 electoral votes). Now suddenly exGOPer is claiming that "1972 onwards when a large number of conservatives in the South identified as Democrat" and therefore the Berkley data that runs from 1972-2012 is invalid because those nasty Democrats in the South were conservatives during this period -- while previously claiming all of these conservatives flipped to be Republicans when Nixon was elected. Sounds like exGOPer is manufacturing bullshiat again. He has no sense of history, context, and perspective -- he simply manufactures talking points that have no basis in fact whatsoever and many times goes against the previous fabricated "facts" he pushed.
Southern strategy started in the late 60s, party affiliation didn't change completely until the Reagan years when that demented actor brazenly adopted the racist talking points and made sure that all the inbred hicks continue to vote for Republicans regardless of their economic or social welfare. Republicans and Republican party deserve each other.
Sure --- go re-write your fictional narrative regarding conservatives and the South. Now let's see you admit that the Berkley data from 1972-2012 properly reflects the I.Q.s of Democrats and Republicans -- and the time period of the study means that all the Democrats in the study are liberals; not conservatives. A fact that should be obvious to any rational non-biased person.
Some factual data on the 1972 election of Nixon - "By contrast, in the 1972 election Nixon won every state in the Union except Massachusetts, winning more than 70% of the popular vote in most of the Deep South (Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina) and 61% of the national vote. He won more than 65% of the votes in the other states of the former Confederacy and 18% of the black vote nationwide. Despite his appeal to Southern whites, Nixon was widely perceived as a moderate outside the South and won African American votes on that basis. Glen Moore argues that in 1970 Nixon and the Republican Party developed a "Southern Strategy" for the midterm elections. The strategy involved depicting Democratic candidates as permissive liberals. Republicans thereby managed to unseat Albert Gore, Sr. of Tennessee as well as Senator Joseph D. Tydings of Maryland." 'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategy
You guys elected a Trump University scammer with terrible grades who speaks at the fourth grade level while he says the dumbest thing and is leading a bunch of dumb evangelicals who are waiting for the second coming. I don't need anything more to prove how dumb your party is.
If the switch over of parties already happened by 72 then why did Atwater continue the Southern Strategy for Reagan and Bush play the Horton ad?
