Quote from bigarrow: 06-26-13 08:17 PM "...I've called a black man a nigger in anger before, I've done it a couple of times..."
When I was about 18 or 19 I did and I'm not proud of it and I've never done it again in the last 30 years. The point was unlike your coward ass I did it to a man's face not on an a message board. Do you ever get tired of me besting your slow witted ass? Of course not because you are dense. And max you make lucrum look smart, if I was you I'd shut up.
There it is again.... Are you sure you're not OCD??? Or is bigarrow your Jodie Foster? cueing Van Halen's "I'll Wait" ... or should it be The Police's "Every Breath You Take" ...
The New York times found Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated By KATE ZERNIKE and MEGAN THEE-BRENAN Published: April 14, 2010 Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/15/us/politics/15poll.html?_r=0
I don't see any inconsistency. The wealthier and better-educated see themselves as part of the new aristocracy. All part of the new/old order.
Publish a study like the one in the OP and make it critical of blacks and you can kiss your academic career goodbye. It's on a par with questioning the AGW dogma or not being sufficiently enthusiastic about the homo agenda. The sad fact is that much of modern academic research is useless and hopelessly tainted by PC concerns. To make matters worse, the vast majority of it is paid for by the government through the grants that universities feast on. Why republicans don't focus on this as a source of budget cuts, along with public broadcasting, is a good question. probably because they fear the inevitable attack that they are "against education." Maybe they could take two minutes and point out all the ridiculous research that is funded by the government.
Really can't see this too many times.....only if the conservatives were smart enough to understand it and realize that they really shouldn't vote. The notion that liberals are smarter than conservatives is familiar to anyone who has spent time on a college campus. The College Democrats are said to be ugly, smug and intellectual; the College Republicans, pretty, belligerent and dumb. There's enough truth in both stereotypes that the vast majority of college students opt not to join either club. But are liberals actually smarter? A libertarian (and, as such, nonpartisan) researcher, Satoshi Kanazawa of the London School of Economics and Political Science, has just written a paper that is set to be published in March by the journal Social Psychology Quarterly. The paper investigates not only whether conservatives are dumber than liberals but also why that might be so. The short answer: Kanazawa's paper shows that more-intelligent people are more likely to say they are liberal. They are also less likely to say they go to religious services. ...
you wish to go with generalizations. where did you go to school? did you graduate? I found that most of the 2nd tier students became govt workers or those wishing for handouts... hence leftists and democrats. Then there were a core group of fairly smart loundmouthed social losers who led the group of 2nd tier students. They became people like pelosis, reid, weiner, wasserman schultz. They were sort of outcasts when they were young so they use the govt to pummel their tax payer rivals. (the succsessful smart 1st tier student tax payers) Lets review where some of the smartest most successful people hangout. Private golf clubs. You can tell democrat jokes on the range and everyone has one.
