Well.... the whole business is annoying and pompous... I didn't see him that way. His witt and humour and skill in summarizing the weekly financial activity was unmatched. Wall Street Week was a great show and Louis Rukeyser was a great writer and host. Somehow, no matter how crazy the market week was, listening to Lou Rukeyser would put the weeks activities in perspective . Thanks Lou, you will be missed.
Rukeyser was also my first exposure to economics and the markets many years ago. I still miss his program... RIP.
Very mannerly...and made several money managers stars by his exposing them to the public... Very witty....excellent commentary with a style of his own.... He even looked a bit like George Washington notable on US currency.... Hats off to you ....you will be missed.....
Always regretted whenever I had to miss a show. I met him in an elevator at an investment seminar a few years back, didn't realize how tall he was. We made small talk and he looked you in the eye as he spoke. The man was a Prince.
Mr. Rukeyser, thank you for the years of great shows! You were very informative, classy and honorable. May you rest in peace, you will be sorely missed. Condolences to the Family. May God Bless.
