Good lord! My point was that the company went broke and failed, as they should have, for mismanaging their money. An elementary concept that you obviously fail to understand along with our politicians.
I've heard the safety argument a hundred times. Show me the accident statistics between stock factory and douchbag pipes. I would bet any amount of money there is no improvement in safety. Also, explain the revving at red lights. Idiots.
I don't have a bike but when i was a kid I used to ride little 100cc dirt bikes, that was a lot of fun.
based on his previous posting patterns, i think he's an employee of one of the federal reserve banks.
Call your local police chief and complain. Ask why tickets aren't being written. There are laws on the books for sound levels, but unless the cops are asked to monitor, they won't. My local chief said that he'd start putting the word out, and it seems to have helped in my area. It pisses me off as well. If a car had those sound levels, the driver would be pulled over and ticketed. But this is one area where I feel that a few well placed phone calls and letters can make a difference. When they start writing a few tickets the word gets around quickly. If you have friends and neighbors who share your disgust at the noise (and they do), then ask them just to make a call as well.

There is nothing worse than an asshole on a loude bike. Except maybe a gang of assholes on loud bikes.
