It would be one thing if it was a bunch of kids, because kids don't get it and do stupid things but these are grown ass men in their 40's and 50's. It's because cops themselves tend to be motorcycle enthusiasts who like loud bikes as well, so they give motorcycle riders a pass on noise ordinances.
It has been a sweet ride. I've had it since 1999 when I bought it new. Only about 2000 of them built. Company went belly up in 2000-2001. The company, Excelsior-Henderson, is a perfect example of what mismanagement of money will lead to. This was obviously back before "too big to fail" took over. I think they did face some legitimate issues with distribution and dealers from Harley. In fact, most of their initial dealers were HD dealers as well.
