the wonder of living having told the truth is that one never has to remember what their story was, and what you call sensible is what i do daily --- BUT I dont have trades closed, with plenty of margin normally !

his account, although weakened by the first closure and admitted as a mistake on my part, would have survived just fine had the second not taken place (with NO margin call) -- once the account was weakened to that point, purely defensive measures set in, would have worked if one cares to look at the price of the currency pair in question. Unfortunately, NOTHING could be done once the whole account was closed !

you may have all the opinions you wish (and im sure you know the old expression concerning them) but you were not there, DID NOT see what happened, and while I shouldn't bother to press charges for "liable on a public forum", you totally qualify for that treatment !

WHEN YOU CALL SOMEONE A SCAMMER, YOU BETTER HAVE THE PROOF, DONT YOU THINK ! NOT "FEELINGS" OR "ANGER" BUT GOOD OLD FASHIONED PROOF !

and not one person here, aside from a really silly thought that i would leverage one account against the other, has come out with one single way a CON could have made money here !

NO ADVERTISING, NO APPROACHING THE OP, NO SUGGESTING HE GIVE ME THE MONEY (was his original thought, not mine!)

Theres NOTHING here to constitute a "con" or "scam" except your own overzealous imaginations and ego's.

Now that you've gotten my attention by publishing where my children live, you've gotten my anger going --- NOTHING you could have said or done would have gotten my ire, but THIS STUPID AND VINDICTIVE ACT deserves what will be happening !

I ASKED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU TO THINK, and obviously none of you are capable of it --- now i'll let my lawyer do the thinking, and the rest of you might understand down the road !

I'm too much of a gentleman to state what I really feel, but once you infringe on my children's safety to any idiot out there, you face every possible thing I can do to protect them and to punish you for your acts !

Watch out for HER though, cause she will kill you graveyard dead and not think a thing about it --- she might even stop the dogs from doing it, just so she can do it herself !

    IDIOTS !!

  4. mp, this thread could have ended 95 miserable pages ago with one simple act on your part: you make financial amends with the account holder like two mature, responsible adults. Simple as that, end of story. All the rest that has mushroomed since in here is 100% on you.

    *

In the summer of 2002, stock index market action was wild. I was making money hand over fist from Jan onward, had one of my biggest months ever in July and was riding an adrenaline rush. At the time, I ran a live trade room and educational website of my own.

A lady named "Sally" (changed) contacted me out of the blue, unsolicited, never heard of her before. Seems she had run her own trading account from roughly $1mil down to $80k remaining. All the usual devastating things that go with losing -$900k were related to me, I felt terrible for her, etc.

She asked me more than once over a couple week's time to manage the remainder of her account. I eventually agreed.

    **

We began trading the S&P right when I discovered myself in the midst of a sudden, unexpected and very painful divorce. The correct thing to do would have been cease all trading, but stupidity led me to think I could handle any adversity and still trade.

    Wrong.

Long story short, I lost -$10k in the course of a month before recovering back to -$7k and just tread water right there. The sole reason Sally contacted me in the first place was public pronouncement of trading acumen, current success, etc. That in itself was great enticement, much like you did with the OP here.

Sally pulled the plug on our flailed attempts and respectfully requested her money back. At that moment I had two choices: break contact with her and leave roadkill behind me or make her account right even though it was technically not required of me.

At the time, $7k was a lot of money when lives are being split down the financial center. Anyone who has ever endured divorce clearly understands, anyone else cannot understand how that experience goes. But, there was only one choice for me: make the account square and preserve my self-respect.

mp, we've heard all about how long you've been helping people in this industry, how kick-ass your FX trading has gone, how money is no issue for you being such an astute trader. Personally, I'd wager you are in way over your head and that's being kind. But... I'll give you benefit of doubt and assume what you say is true. You now face the same two choices I did: walk away and live with roadkill behind you or agree to make the account right with OP and end the misery here.

It really is simple as that. If you thought trying to explain / b.s. your way out of the dilemma in a message board would work, what the hell were you thinking? It is obvious you are highly intelligent and have excellent communicative skills, but so do 100s of members here. What works in your controlled forum absolutely will not prevail here. It will only get worse by the 195th page of this sordid mess.

Thankfully, I won't be around to read it that far. Hopefully no one else will have to... the resolution is all in your full control.

In the end, you too will learn a lot about managing other people's money, the responsibility of such decisions, your true skills as a trader right now at this moment in time, and other important truths.

Contact the OP, work out some payment arrangement and everyone here will respect you highly. Anything other than that will leave a legacy of misery for you in your mind. Much better choice to preserve your dignity and self-respect at any price... it is priceless to you.

    Best Wishes

THAT is what this has been all about and while I do not have to agree with when this silliness would have ended (it was going strong without me !) I have told Chris repeatedly that NOTHING happens till this silliness ends.

considering the free exchange of ideas over at the sho board, why would you want to place them in a negative light -- its uncensored and anything one wants to discuss is open, BUT the people there are rather friendly, and i find the boards at Elite to be completely filled with animosity and dislike of each other, and I refer to OTHER FORUMS THAT I HAVE VISITED --- call us what you will, but we DO NOT engage in that immature behavior !

So if you believe what has happened is correct behavior on this boards part, and since I've been called everything under the sun, as well as the board i habit, and that as of this moment I'm not in the mood to cool down -- quite the opposite, actually -- HAD LONG AGO AGREED TO SPEAK WITH CHRIS and then face yet again the stupidity that I saw in this board from the very beginning, I have every right to be angry and to seek to satisfy what has now become a volatile and dangerous situation !

I appreciate the tone of your post, but I had long ago agreed to working with chris ---- but the forum, in its testosterone ridden, immature driven and now law breaking manner, was never willing to let go, to stop for one moment !

for THAT and THAT ONLY I now have only one option open to me and its already been placed into service !

I hope theres a board left when the smoke clears !

mp, that part you are 100% correct about. But that's topic of discussion for another time & place in this forum. I do know that far as you and Chris are concerned, it can and should be easily worked out between you two.

Everything else that escalated was result of you feeding the flames here. This forum has a number of truly wonderful people inside, but a great number of otherwise, too.

  7. There still will be a board. I've seen personal information posted on many boards with many lawsuits ACTUALLY FILED. The bottom line is as long as a moderator did his job and removed it as SOON as he became aware of it then you have no case against the board, period. You also lose ENORMOUS credibility with the court when you USE YOUR REAL NAME on a public board.

All of this is just your attempt to tone down the people here. Face it, you have no intention of giving any money back to Chris and this is your only hope to stop this thread.

    Pathetic.

    acdspit,

I'm sorry for what has happened. One word of caution to anyone is the above mentioned statement indicates that he can turn your $5 K account into $55 K in one year (on average) a whopping 1000% return. When anyone says something like this to you - you better run the other way. Based on his assumed average return which in FOREX could easily be done on much larger scales- in 5 years he is suggesting your account could be worth $500 million. Obviously if someone could make this kind of money - they wouldn't be sharing.

The point is - any documented proof of this unrealistic return (average 1000 % per year) could be used against him in a fraud case. The more unrealistic the claim - the more of an indication "fraud" took place. If he can't prove - based on his records that to "average" 1000% is realistic (i.e. he averages 1000%) - then he be in trouble......

The courts use to rule in favor of Habeas Corpus - "buyer beware" - that is - the scammers could get away with everything but recently there has been an onus on defendents to prove their claims were "reasonable". I would suggest that anyone saying they can average 1000 % per year in FOREX is probably an "unreasonable" claim.

I'm not suggesting fraud took place - as I don't know what was said - but if you have documented proof of his claims - then I like your chances.

Perhaps the two of you can work things out without having to go to court.

    good luck.

yea sure, you agreed to talk? read the below from Chris, you have offered nothing.

of course Chris is cautious in talking to you. All you wanted to do is to put him into another scam. Read below:

let's face it MP, nothing short of a full restitution is acceptable. No more scams, no more smoke screens, no more dancing around the bush. Just do the right thing.

  10. MP, I'll give you one thing, you were unfailingly polite and jovial to all here!

But there, I think, is the problem some here have - This poor military guy lost darn near everything and yet you *seemed* not to care a whit?

If you really are trying to get his money back, then kudos to you. I have two children in the military, so I know how tough it is for them.

Good luck to you and good trading to all!
