Lost half of my years salary in a week!

  1. Another sucker into the meat grinder, eh Mike?

How much more margin did she have to put in to keep herself afloat?

What excuses did you give her for her account blowing up? The same that we hear in this thread?

You are a nightmare - a scam artist who presents himself as an honest, diligent trader.

  2. Wow, over 70+ pages about some guy who got taken to the bank when he let some other guy trade his account.

While the OP definitely did not deserve what he got his lesson definitely stands as a pretty good testimony of what can happen when you let someone else handle your business.

MP obviously trades other people's money like it's, well OPM, in industry parlance, shark bait.

And that's obviously what the OP was to 'em.

It creates a bad name for legitimate vendors (who, admittedly, are few and far between) in the business, but hey as a rule, unless you seriously vet them and can see a good track record with all of their trades and trading accounts (not just the ones that made money) I would recommend staying away from them any way.

If someone has a system that's making money, they really don't need your money. If a trader can't or won't or isn't willing to take responsibility for their own trading, they should get a mutual fund.

    Regards,

  3. ======================================
sorry poo poo, but read what i said -- a 25% recovery in a few days aint half bad and should be back to where she started by mid week following ! Margin, no margin added and the only reason I asked Chris for it was as a safety -- he could have had it back after the USD news had calmed down !

oh, and i was not the one who incurred her losses, but i am the one putting it back together !

now poo poo, as an aside, I have never seen a site so full of people who wish to argue with each other ---- not referring to this thread, but so many others i have checked on this site --- hell, they even argue about trend lines !!!!! It almost appears that people simply wish to be negative to get reactions from others, and theyre all members and seem to know each other ! I really am not used to how they treat each other !

anyway poo poo, i shall show my progress with her account as the week progresses -- shes fully aware of this thread and had blood in her eyes about it the last time we chatted --- maybe she knows something youse gentle folks dont !

  5. I DID read what you said. A 25% recovery!! What happened to her account? Now you say that it was someone else who lost her money and now you have made 25% back? Lady - are you reading this thread??

He could have had his margin back after the USD news calmed down?? What if it didn't calm down? You act as if you know what the markets are going to do! I would like to see how those trades are doing now.

While our job as traders (REAL traders, not you) is to in some way try to predict the future, our main job is to manage our risk, protect our capital, and live to trade another day. You on the other hand would implode a steel building with your methods - which you seem to think are reasonable, safe, and winning!

Where do you get your dope from man...?

  6. Oh Lady - be aware that Mike Parker made the OP's account magically rise 17% in the first 2 days too...
You will, and I can guarantee it, lose everything and then some...
You are dealing with a charlatan and there is no recourse for you when things go kaboom...

  7. =======================================

    Chris,

I'm not going to fully reply to you on this forumn, as too many claws wait to rip each word apart, but understand that in no way am i a happy man about this, nor am i "chipper" in any way --- for the most part "chipper" is simply my putting on a thicker skin to protect from the barbs and arrows being slung around here !

I've told you previously, when all the brou haa dies down we will speak again --

  8. Can someone explain this, as I'm not much of a forex guy..

    2006.10.24 13:25 buy 4 usdjpy 119.58
    2006.10.24 13:30 sell 4 usdjpy 119.55 _

These are the first 2 trades in the log.
Wouldn't this amount to a 3 pip loss (times 4)...
If he bought and then sold within FIVE MINUTES wouldn't he be flat?
    And stupid too?

Why does it show a huge loss and that the trade was closed out 2 days later?

  9. Its funny that FXDD tells you more about the account than me. They didn't say any if ands or buts when it came to mistakes they just said that the trades went against me and the whole margin thing. I wish they would of mentioned something unexplainable so they would be at least somewhat responsible and maybe theyd be able to fund me a little more than 100.

  10. Exactly

PP is 100% correct with this statement. This is the crux of any and all good trading systems ... nothing more and nothing less. MP was able to avoid this very simple (but not well understood) rule of trading because he was trading OPM. So he never had any emotional involvement with the trades, and aside from maintaining his albeit spotty track record, he didn't really care a whit about the OP or his money.

    See above.

    He isn't taking dope.

Just another opportunistic trader looking to get over on naive and unknowledable trader.
