The issue of who was logged on is IRRELEVANT!!

You are soliciting, trading and being compensated with proper licensing. That is the issue. Period

All of your attempts to disguise this are ridiculous

This may be fun for you and mr Parker.
I don't think the OP thinks it is fun.

The fact that Parker makes little jokes, tries to blame patients at the hospital for making trades, says the whole thread is a hoax, is revealing.
When this thread started it looked like Parker was simply a bad trader, now it looks more sinister.

  3. Guess what?...we will never know what to think....

    all so pointless...

how some of you have made up your minds is a true marvel of the human condition...now don't everybody jump on me...

we had this exercise in college in Psychology 101

here we have a military serviceman solicating a trader to trade half his meager salary and the trader blows out the account and even worse wants more money...so we know who is good and evil at face value...but do we really know?

Our thread author shows up just in the nick of time...but the live conversation was truly perplexing in which I believe to be true...because the third party, lindq, is reliable.

  4. Chris, "the trades being open/closed" is only an issue now because this Parker character you call "Mike", toward whom you apparently still feel deeply deferential, even while he's having loads of fun at your expense, has made it an issue. It is a complete red herring, of course.

As to "security setup", are you even reading this thread? I described exactly how it should have been handled in MT4 in this post just a few hours ago. It is 100% the money manager's responsibility to do their homework first, know such basic (and many not so basic) things about the broker, the platform and the client, and address all the relevant details, big and small, before a single order is ever placed on behalf of their client.

Chris, may I offer you some friendly advice? I'm afraid you're no match for "Mike", not even close. No offense, mate. Even if you were, this forum is not even remotely the appropriate venue for you to seek a resolution, compensation or justice. I would very strongly recommend that you STOP posting your stream-of-consciousness thoughts here NOW. It is unlikely to help your cause in any way, and can possibly set you back further. Instead, as has been suggested above, get the wheels in motion through your JAG office, who can undoubtedly do a much better job for you than all of us combined. They, in turn, are in a position to leverage the power and the resources of the CFTC, the NFA, the New York State Attorney General's office and other authorities, as needed. Best of luck.

  5. All true enough, but consider the iterations.
It would be just as easy for the op to have aquired a few basics, had a shot themselves and lost that much, that would sting.
But the feeling of being ripped off, well that kinda like having your house burgled, it grates big time-but at that age, mistakes like this happen all the time-buying a lemon car, getting screwd on insurance claims/accidents, heck, buying a diamond ring (cubic zirconia fake) for a significant other.

Watched "matchstick men" the nicholas cage movie the other day , and his justification for con artistry seems apt, to paraphrase.

"I didnt steal their money, ........they gave me their money"

Talk about expensive lessons, but stuff happens.

IMO, there is a further issue which I feel is much more serious, and which would concern me more if I was MP, particularly when the military authorities look into the public record.

    That issue is wirefraud.

Because he set himself up to be a professional and agreed to accept compensation, if he has previously posted or emailed information about his experience, skills, level of knowledge or success as a trader...and if any of that information is a falsehood, he has got a VERY serious problem.

If this is the case, and only MP knows the truth of the matter, he would be well served to just write a check to OP and be done with it. A call from the Navy's Judge Advocate General office will not be a pleasant conversation.

Of course, have blown out a few accounts of that size and larger myself.
I think the main value of this thread is that when Mr parker goes looking for more fish there is a chance someone will link them to the thread.
It is unfortunate a couple of members took his 'hoax' diversion seriously, it served Parker well as the thread has now being moved to chitchat so it is now off the homepage.

Agreed. IMO, it is an insult to ET members to have moved this to Chit Chat. This is a thread that should be permanently posted at the head of Forex.
