You have just learned the most valuable lesson of them all: Nobody cares about your money as much as you do. I sincerely mean this. You got off easy. Now learn to trade. PS. You have no business engaging with Forex.
THE PLOT THICKENS... Look what I found!! Here is the link and a preview below http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cach...enfradcliffe.pdf+mikey's+method&hl=en&start=4 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Before the COMMODITY FUTURES TRADING COMMISSION In the Matter of: MICHAEL RADCLIFFE, Respondent. CFTC Docket No. 02-04 COMPLAINT and NOTICE OFHEARING PURSUANT TOSECTIONS 6(c) AND 6(d) OF THECOMMODITY EXCHANGE ACT, AS AMENDED The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the âCommissionâ or âCFTCâ) has received information from its staff that tends to show, and the Commissionâs Division of Enforcement (the âDivisionâ) alleges that: I. SUMMARY 1. As more fully set forth below, from at least 1997 through September 2001, Respondent Michael Radcliffe (âRadcliffeâ) has engaged in the fraudulent solicitation of customers in the conduct of his predominantly internet-based commodities advisory business. 2. Using the Internet web site www.mikeysmethods.com, Radcliffe offered and sold, amongother goods and services, two items: (i) a commodity trading manual called âMikey's Methods to Money or Madnessâ (âMikey's Methodsâ), which lays out a system for trading commodityfutures; and (ii) Learn to Earn, a book about commodity futures trading written by Radcliffe. 3. The web site contained claims that Radcliffe made âgood profitsâ from his trading of the âMikey's Methodsâ system, and that he made his living through such trading. In fact, however, Radcliffe never made either âgood profitsâ or âa livingâ from his commodity futures trading. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Page 2 2.Over a period of more than three years, between April 1998 and September 2001, he sustained aggregate net losses in his personal trading of just under $25,000. 4. As a result of his false statements, Radcliffe violated antifraud and other provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended, 7 U.S.C. §§1, et seq. (2001) (the âActâ), as well as provisions of the Commission's Regulations, 17 C.F.R. §§1, et seq. (2001) (the âRegulationsâ), as detailed more fully below. II. RESPONDENT5. Michael Radcliffe, who was last known to reside at 1005 Jackson Hollow Road, Mosheim, Tennessee, is the author of the âMikeyâs Methodsâ trading manual and the Learn to Earn book. . 9. The web site also contained statements -- generally made in the first person -- thatRadcliffe, using the âMikey's Methodsâ trading system, traded commodity futures successfullyand made his living that way. The specific misrepresentations have included, but are not limited to: · âMikey's Methods helps me trade well enough so that I don't need to work. Isn't that your objective as well?â · âNot long after I started making good profits in commodity trading several of myfriends wanted to learn.â · âDo you have what it takes? It is not whether or not you have a higher education: manysuccessful traders were low income construction laborers and blue collar workers. It's not a matter of money. Some (like myself) have started with as low as $1,000 initial investment capital.â· âIf you want to learn commodity trading from the ground up from someone who became successful with very little capital, this is the course for you.â · âThese are the same simple commodity trading strategies that Mikey has been using to trade for a living.â · âI trade commodities for a living.â10. Despite these claims, however, between January 1997 and September 2000, a period during which Radcliffe claimed to have used âMikey's Methodsâ as the basis for his personal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Respondent shall file an Answer to the allegations against said Respondent in the Complaint within twenty (20) days after service, pursuant to Section 10.23 of the Rules of Practice, 17 C.F.R. § 10.23 (2001), and pursuant to Section 10.12(a) of the Rules of Practice, 17 C.F.R. § 10.12(a) (2001), shall serve two copies of such Answer and of any document filed in this proceeding Alan Edelman, Trial Attorney, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Division of Enforcement, Three Lafayette Centre, 1155 21stStreet, NW, Washington, DC 20581, or upon such other counsel as designated by the Division. I thought the guys name was mike parker? LOL, Is it just me, or is "stockhideout" a particularly bad name for such a site? Why not just call it "on the run investment", or "going underground stocks" or something
LOL Maybe it should be called "Mikey's Hideout". Someone posted on there about this thread, asking if it's true that he blew out someone's account in a week, so far no response.
Issei, actually i want to thank you for that link since I originally referred to my method as "mikeys method" with NO knowledge of this other "mikey" and have been interested in his travels for a while. the administrators at stock hideout pointed this out to me one day and changed my forumn name to mike parkers method, distancing itself from this character. btw, read my method, you may just find it works well, since so many others tell me how good it is and it has been downloaded close to 4000 times. There is also a free analyzer that very effectively finds bottoms and is used with either quotetracker or the free EOD Prophet.net charts (although one can also use the realtime charts for intraday trading, of course) so to put it into perspective, i have no web site, i do not advertise or look for people to trade for or claim to be a financial analyst in any way shape or form. a simple trader who has offered many years of experience to newbs at no cost to them -- kindly do not confuse me with any other ! enjoy and trade well mp
======================================= the post in question has been answered, BUT do not confuse what i do as a private individual with one of the best stock groups around, reinforced by its over 4000 members, and existing to educate, inform and advise ! the rancor here is getting palatable, and there is no reason for it as i have stated what happened, the reasons for it happening, the technical problems that caused so many of the problems and how i personally still hold the position WITH NO FEAR of losing money in the end of a swing play -- unfortunately, the trader whose account i was managing was more used to trading for ten minutes than 10 days and closed his own account in fear ! enjoy and trade well mp ONLY known as mike parker
i saw your trades...while u banked no more than 100 bucks on your best winners u closed your losers with 2k and 3k dollars losses. not even my cat would trade like this, and u freakin' have been around for what 15 yrs? jesus xrist u either are just incompetent to the max or just plain retarded....and comin' up with that crap about people hackin' into the acct? well, that is just lame.
If you are an example of the quality of moderators then www.stockhideout.com is looking to be one of the most suspicious trading forums on the net- . BTW, who deleted the thread about this topic on your forum ? You are still blaming the platform and the poor trader who lost her savings. I sometimes use Fxdd, if there is any truth to your claim of trades being mysteriously closed, what might have happened is that the platform closed out some trades because the margin was about to be exceeded, this can happen when a 12,000 account plunges down $9000 over a 48 hour period. As other traders have mentioned , you must have been leveraged at an extreme level. These platforms are programmed to ensure that trades are closed well before any chance of the account going into negative territory. I looked at some of your posts on the other forum.. I think your first one about forex-out of hundreds about stocks- was last month (correct me if I am wrong) You wrote: If you had written this on ET you would have been laughed off the forum. It reads like spam email, or pure novice idiocy. I accept your statement that you made money in the account for 2 days before losing almost the whole account.
Mr. Parker, Its the evasiveness about your background and experience that is keeping this thread alive. Please answer the following questions so that we can let this thread die and you can get back to your trading To confirm that you in fact , Mike Parker and not an alias... 1. What city do you reside in? 2. What is full name ( first, middle, last name) 3. What was the name of the firm you worked for as a Soes Bandit (You told poster this in a thread) 4. Have you ever taken a series 3,6,7,or 63 exam?
