Lost Generation, wow sucks to be young today.

  1. I still find it amazing that the 9% unemployment number has any semblance of credibility when you consider the labor force participation rate chart. Last I checked it was near 30 year lows. At the very least it cuts thru all the bullshit of people falling off the radar after x number of years. In this economy, as we've seen, people are unemployed for record durations, hence these unemployment stats are pure fiction.

  2. XY chromosome is the male chromosome. Originally and without external manipulation, the male naturally protects females. However, females were duped and tricked and drugged and traumatized and manipulated into believing they had to pay for protection with sex. Does a man request or require sex for protecting a 4 year old? Not that XX are children, however, the protection instinct is similar.

    So.

  3. I keep forgetting... is it baby boomers or infant boomers?

  4. For the smart boomer, and if you are married or boyfriend or sex-partner or otherwise have captured a female under the age of 45, I suggest immediate divorce and simultaneous protection.

A boomer shall NEVER have sex or touch in any way a woman under the age of 45. That is forever. That is my law. That will be enforced. I will get to all offenders. Globally.

Divorce order has been issued. Protection order has been issued. You do not want the consequences of not following my direct orders.

We have to begin where we are. Most of these d-bags revere Bernacke and take CNBC as gospel. Labor force participation rate is a far superior metric, sure, but that's unorthodox paradigm-shattering logic. We're dealing with 50-year old children that happily drank the Kool-Aid their entire adult lives. Only sunshine and lollipops allowed. How would 14% unemployment jive with their rosy colored delusions? How about something worse than Greece in 2 years? Nahhhh....."Everythings just fine"....

  6. That's a pretty good economics idea I hadn't heard before. Have to define participation though.

  7. Don't mean to change your idea there, but maybe it's a ratio... time, work, skill/experience, wealth. Might be able to come up with some metric to guesstimate those. But big picture... I like the labor force participation rate.

You are right the West needs a big shake up.

Europe has various systems cobbled togethor from the past. The USA has an 18th century system, which is like taking a horse and cart to the F1 racetrack and wondering why it didn't win.

  9. I agree. Nascar was designed for cars with a max speed of 130 or so. Time for an upgrade if you ask me.

Don't even get me started about the interstate highway system.

What a great opportunity for some young guns to make the point and make their names.

While the destructive/negative lot are throwing petrol bombs (Greece) , the winners are already moving ahead.
