http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QDT58Q6Zxo&feature=related This stuff should be known by everyone, for it would finish all emotional issues. After listening to those 5 parts, would you still be scared? This guy was the stereotypical skeptic, until he got confronted with this stuff. Be sure to watch Brian weiss too if you'd be interested.
So in other words, you would call JOB (in the Old Testament) a loser, beacuse after all he did lose everything

When you are no longer afraid of dying....you will see there was never anything to lose in the first place
Thanks for the links and the response. I watched the videos and have to say that all though the idea of past lives regression is fascinating (as well as the other ideas covered too), we all still see things from our own perspectives, and so just knowing that death isn't the end is not totally comforting enough for one to be able to live their lives with that knowledge alone. It's like in the movie, the matrix, when the guy is eating the steak, knowing full well that the steak isn't "real", yet he still prefers to have it regardless. I've thought about the predicament quite a bit actually, and think I would do the same and choose the steak knowing very well what it is and isn't. In the end when life is over, and you look back and see the entire world end and all your possessions and memories crumble along with it, you may regret wasting your time (vanity, materialism, etc); but if death is truly not the end, then no time is really wasted.
Not if you've lost your arma and legs. Not much you can do then. Can't do a good windmill impression. Can't pick up the sat phone and sell some T-Bonds. You can roll down slopes though. But you're not free to do anything. You silly sausage.
