Left went all in spending tens of millions on their hand picked candidate. Message was Trump is evil and dangerous, has Russian blood running through his veins. Outcome, another crushing defeat. Today they're asking the same question, what can we learn. Let me help. You have no message. Your idealogy is borderline insane. Everything about your party is being rejected. Your fabricated conspiracy theories fall on deaf ears. Your hysteria about everything from Russians to global warming is now just the joke of the day. Your race baiting, everone is a bigot, sexist, homophobe is laughed at. In short, no one takes you seriously.
This was supposed to be a referendum on Trump. Trump only won the district by 1%. The dems lost by more than that. You lost loser.
District is so red in 2006 the republican candidate won by 45 .In 2008 the republican won by 37.Democrats didn't even bother to challenge for it in 2010.In 2017 the republican candidate only won by 4.
McCain won it by 25%. Romney won it by 23% In a few years a solid red district that has gone red since 1979 has gone from republicans winning by 25 % to 1 % in presidential elections and 45% to 4 % in congressional elections.
This was a Yuge loss for the Dems, and especially the far left. By poring more money than seen in any House race, they made this a referendum on Trump. And Trump won....Bigly!! Spin it anyway you want, but this was a huge loss for the Dems. Even the left is criticizing the left.
Keep on whistling past the graveyard of leftist ideology. This election was supposed to be a rejection of everything Trump. Your gang poured tens of millions into this nothing election trying to make it something. Ya'll had your fingers crossed, eyes closed real tight and wished for a miracle. Denied, again. You just keep counting those numbers and telling yourselves how close you got. Stay focused on all your conspiracies. We'll see how well that works for your gang.
