But how it will affect IB's TWS?
i hope we will see something smaller,faster. something that doesn't require i7 to see a few tickers on PC screen

Misleading title. It will only affect the browser access, not TWS as I understand. IB might have to create some HTML5 solution if possible and that's not a bad thing.

Very misleading headline indeed. Java is only the (or one of the) most popular programming languages in the world and the foundation for Android.
