Can anyone suggest a firm that I should submit my resume to?

    I have seen:

I'm looking for a firm in the Chicago area that is interested in a black box electronic trading application.

I don't have enough financial capital to invest to go the route of some of the prop firms and make it worth it.

I do have a lot of human capital. I've spent years programming and testing different automated trading algos and I think my latest program is a winner based upon early testing. Unfortunately, my firm closed shop before I was able to implement it.

My initial thinking is to blast my resume at all of the firms on that list and see what sticks. If I don't get a job offer at a firm that will pay me a salary and let me trade their capital, then I could get a programming job and save the money needed to sign up at a prop firm that requires capital.

I would be very grateful for any advice on career or prop firm.

    TIA
