  1. What about the training that some of these places offer? Are they worth it, has anyone here tried them? I'm talking about everything from on site training to web based training and DVD's.

  2. Where do I sign up? :D

what I have found is about 999 out of 1000 are completely worthless, actually most are worse than worthless because they get you thinking about trading that will lose your money.

the other one out of 1000 will turn out to be pretty good, it's usually some guy who is good at research and shares his information for free or cheap.

I don't really have the time or patients to do all the research necessary to come up with good stock picks. that's why I look at what other people are doing.

  3. Do the people that "train" you, are they also traders?..if not, f--k that shit, don't waste your time/ money.

If they do "trade", ask for a 3yr summary of their trading pnl. If they dont want to share, f--k that shit, dont waste you time/ money.

If they do trade, and are consistantly profitable, then it just boils down to how much you're willing to pay. But look at it this way, if you had to pay 2,3,4,5k or much more for say 6 months of teaching/ coaching, and if its done by a professional trader, then you will learn things that could otherwise take you many long painfull years to learn on your own.

Pristine offers what they call a "Phd of Trading" program, its 18 months long for only, oh... 40,500.00 thousand dollars. :p

I havn't herd many good things about pristine though.
