I am looking to get back into prop trading and I'm reaching out to Elite Trader for any and all feedback and ideas. Here's the skinny: made money for a few years prop trading NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, briefly Forex. Not independently wealthy but confident in ability and track record. Not currently licensed. Used to have Series 7 and 63 for ten years. Been a few years since I have actively traded. Not interested in putting up capital. Not very liquid right now, plus my first trainer taught me if a traded Prop and made money Prop stay Prop. I do have the love of trading and commitment to trade again 100% My friend is swaying me to index futures citing liquidity and nice technicals, but exp. In equities. I saw a couple of prop firms in nyc that made sense but I read that they want you to stay @ 100 shares. I like the Chicago style firms - they want real traders and seem to hire based on merit like Patak. It seems many NYC firms only want big deposits or training fees.
