Hi all, This may not be the right place to post this, but I am looking for some suggestions as to investing in precious metal funds, either the physical commodity or possibly stocks. I would like to set up a monthly contribution to take advantage of dollar cost averaging. This would be a long term play. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
CEF is the only one I would consider. Physical gold and silver held only and fully audited bullion vaults. Not a reco, just a suggestion as per your thread title.
The most liquid ETF's that are actually backed by PHYSICAL holdings and are not leveraged are: Gold - Streettracks Gold (GLD US) Silver - iShares Silver Trust (SLV US) For platinum I had a harder time finding a liquid ETF backed by physical, but in the end decided to invest via: ETFS Physical Platinum (London) - PHPT LN All these trade in USD
