I have been downloading stats from livecharts and putting it into excel but thats a pain. Does anyone know of some inexpensive charting software or free that I can import this data into and use? Just learning and studying now so I don't want to spend a ton of moola. Any help is appreciated.

  3. Ensign for Windows is good for studying (I mean the Internet version with delayed quotes), and it's only $40 a month, but SierraChart may suit you better.

  4. amibroker is very reasonable and very powerful. i use it virtually every day for daily data.

  5. It's about a $100 one time and if you're just interested in daily data there's no monthly charge - they have a free download utility that pulls off Yahoo.

I have Wall Street Analyzer. Decent software and scripting env. but u can use it with only daily quotes from Yahoo

  7. you`ll get both data and charting software for low price.

  8. Extremely low price. In fact I would go so far as to say you can't beat their price.

    But wait, there's more!
