Looking for decent furniture

I am looking for decent furniture. I can order from the Internet, or I can go to a store. I live in Chicago. I desperately need a couch.

Anyone know of any good deals, local or online?

This is stating the obvious...but Ikea.

Thanks. The "obvious" is not always obvious to me. I am kinda dense when it comes to home decorating.

Have you had good luck with their stuff? Everytime I get something from Ikea, it seems to break down on me.

That could be that we are hard on our furniture tho...

Yeah, I've had decent luck with their furniture. The lamps break quickly, and the colored towels bleed like crazy...but for straight up furniture they really do have decent stuff at very low prices. Many couches to choose from, even if you only want to spend a 3 figure amount.

Actually I thought that Costco couch was nice looking albeit not really priced rock bottom.
