So Steve, are you saying that with RML Trading we would qualify for ~$3/trade regardless of number of shares, type of exchange (NASD,NYSE,OTC,Pinks, etc), or number of trades per month?

(Just to confirm - as it looks like that commission level is normally only available if you do over 2000 trades/month...)

  3. so freetrade was giving out special deals. i nailed there hiny good for 4 years the last year or so i couldn't stand trading with them as there fills sucked. lowtrades or anyone else eman nothing if they hold the fills to there advantage. think about 2 cent hold on 2k shares thats $40 lost or 30 or 40 trades of a few bucks commissions

have to have good fills ... no doubt about that

but whichever broker i end up with ...

after a testing period, my smallest size will be 10000

and that rules out some good brokers

    ------------------------------------------------

i wonder ... if you took a broker like IB and averaged out all their commissions ... how much they get per trade ... the figure must be more than i would think or else they would have introduced a cap and thereby gained marketshare

  5. smallest size 10k? what are you trading 1-10 buck stocks? i've been doing this 15 years full time and its beyond me why anyone would take 5-10k blocks and not scale in. on 10k 5 cents against you is $500 or rougly 170 $3 commissions. and i assur eyou the chances of catching the bottom on any stock are small so why not scale? reminds me of the 90's i'd trade 10-30 option contracts at a time and get upside down huge. now i scale in everything and it works

    you guessed it,

    small price, high volume

small gains, don't let the price go down 5 cents

don't let it go down 3 cents, 2 max:)

  8. birdman whatever works for one. what i've noticed is the guys that loved freetrade were doing big shares small $stocks. when gold was hot i'd trade 5k blocks of drooy and paying $1 with freetrade was huge

This looks great, thanks... I took a quick glance.

One thing potentially missing - it doesn't look like they do options at all - often I do combo trades with stocks + options.

Anybody know if lowtrades has any plans for this, or if I'm missing it somewhere?

Other, perhaps even more important question - anybody have any experience with their fills and how good they are?

I looked at lowtrades, and they seem to be another Ameritrade (or worse!) They appear to be getting pay for orderflow.

Does anyone have any experience with Cybertrader? Are the fills good? I'm looking for a broker to day trade, and IB seems expensive. Any feedback would be appreciated.
