  4. Quote from putergeekalb:

Thirdly, I have been struggling. I have had some systems that did work and they have since seemed to go south.

That is probably because they never "worked" in the first place. "Worked for X months and now they don't" means it probably never really worked.

There are MANY, MANY people who have developed a system on their on time who simply dont have the capital to put it to use. Thats where I come in.

Yes. And 99+% of those systems NEVER worked. They ae paper traders or dreamers or have terrible system stats, like Profit Factor or Sharpe or are prone to crash and burn. Spend on a little time on one of the handful of websites that offer "systems" and you will soon realize that these "systems" are relatively worthless. You are either very naive or something is really wrong with this whole proposed setup. But of course, that is already obvious based on the replies above...

As far as a large account. I have had upwards of 50 million in margin available to be used. Obviously, to even think about using anything close to that, we need to be making money for several months and really have a plan.

Again, this whole setup smells. You are not making money, but have $50 million in margin available to throw at anonymous strangers on the web, who give you a major opportunity to run the account into the ground???

I am legit and I am open to suggestions....

You are confused and open to either delusions or being taken for a ride.

  5. Traderzones, it seems like you have a habit of creating controversy on Elitetrader. Do me a favor and keep your nose out of my business. You have no fucking idea what your talking about or my life and how I trade.

You can say what you want about a system that "probably didnt work in the first place", but in reality, you dont know anything. You have to be a poor soul who really is sad in life and has to bring negativity to others. You get off on others doing bad.

As far as my margin, thats none of YOUR BUSINESS. Simple heh? As far as me looking for someone, thats NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS.

I dont need to spend time on any other sites or listen to one thing you say. So for the last time, stay out of my thread, out of my business, and go about your merry old way creating negativity wherever you step foot. You really dont have a clue.

I do know one thing that I will say, you're right about the 99% of the systems people create are worthless. BUT, I was once in the shoes of what I am looking for. I was once succesfull and as I stated, my systems have since started to go South. So, I am now branching out and looking for more ways to trade or an individual who was once like me who has a system and really doesnt have the capital to capitalize on it.

  7. I have several suggestions.

    1) If you trade equities only you must be able to hold overnight . If you really do not want to hold overnight, switch to eminis.
2)Invite traders to sim trade eminis and pick those who will submit the best results in term of winning%, low drawdowns and bigger profit per trade numbers
3/You should allocate $ 5,000 for 2 emini trading acccounts and let your two best sim traders to trade them .
This way all you can ever loose is 5K and you might actually discover good trader.
Forget about stereotypical male aggresive trader type. You need risk averse ,conservative, relaxed person of any age.
    Good luck

Instead of hiring someone to trade in your account, find someone in the Prop House and pay them to teach you the ins and outs of day trading.

I've trading in multiple prop houses and can tell you there are some people who make a bundle day trading, and some who will lose a bundle.

Those who are making a bundle are too busy making money to trade your account and those losing will be gone.

You're going to have to get your hands dirty and down in the trenches and daytrade on your own, and make friends with those with the know-how.

While you are there, you can see first hand what the "trader for hire" knows as he demonstrates his skills to you.

I would be surprised if you are successful trying to find a professional prop-house trader on the internet.

    Good Luck!
