ice bergs.. vwaps... thats german to me... obviously that means that people are posting options trades to game people watching.. which i would have to consider.. but you seriously think it would be a total fruitless task with no insight what so ever gained?
Well, let me chime in and say the title of this thread is off the mark. Why ? Simply because Excel is NOT a trade management platform. Not even close. It's just a crude tool. It knows nothing about trading. Could a trade management platform be built with Excel VBA ? Of course, but it would not be a trivial project. Why not consider a real trading platform that can be programmed ? Ninja Trader and Multicharts both support the IB data feed.
because there is nothing in Ninja trader for options.. no on trades options in the realm.. last i checked..
Ah....so you want a specialized trading platform for a derivative called options. Now I see the problem.
Have you considered going retro ? Hire a secretary. You could be a bit pushed to find one at $50 per month. But you could call it work experience - and dangle unlimited wealth before her. Even marry her and get it all for free. Not sure what you are looking for ? Just get a load of this baby
MultiCharts has just announced their C#/Dot-net platform offering. This is a very significant development. You could do 90% of everything in Powerscript, but for the other 10%, they now have the ultimate solution.
