Right now I trade futures retail (5 years experience). I avoid trading equities retail do to limited leverage, the wash sale rule, higher commissions, and tax reasons (avoiding a 500 page 1040 schedule D with 10 million+ in reported sales to the IRS). I want to get back into equities trading at a prop. firm again. The 3 prop firms I joined in the past all shut down. So now I want to try a CBSX registered firm. What are the typical deals that most firms offer right now? Capital Contribution? Payout %? Commission rate? Leverage? K-1 (partner) or 1099 (contractor)? I'm in the NYC area. Thanks.
Arjun - Just curious , why would someone switch from futures to equity when they are doing good with futures? sorry about off topic post thanks
