Can anyone recommend a good VPS for me to run my automated trades from? I just need to run TWS and Ninja on it simultaneously (so the VPS needs to be able to run with Windows), and be able to access and view the desktop via Remote Desktop and also via http or https in case I'm behind a firewall. The one I'm looking at is www.vpsland.com , but I'd like to compare with others. I've checked around on some the hosting services review sites but it doesn't seem to be what I'm after. Also, as far as memory that I'll need to be able to access (500 Mb, 1 Gb, etc.), do you have any recommendations? I was thinking about 1 Gb but I'm not sure if it's not overkill because with a VPS you don't really have (in the case of Windows) a bloated operating system that is eating up your memory. Thanks for the interesting witopia site...I'll keep it in mind for future reference, but of course when using a wi-fi hotspot, one could always just make a vpn connection to one's own network at home and then go out from there. That's all this site is doing. Do a google search for open vpn software. Apart from that, could we please relegate the VPN discussion to a separate thread, as it's really not at all related to VPS?
