Looking for a free intraday software package

Seems here many trader using ninjatrader, but I am never use these platform and still using mt4, might because my broker using this platform so I am not use other platform

I never used Ensign to trade....only charting. I even asked Howard years ago if they would implement trading on charts and he said at that time they were not...so I moved to Ninja. Hope that helps.

 

is there any limit to what broker ninja works with, is it that good?

You can use MotiveWave as the front end for IB. You can add a supplemental data feed for more history to fill in historical data. Or, you can also import data into MotiveWave in ASCII, CSV, or Metastock database formats. We're not free, but we have different editions starting as low as $99 for a lifetime license.
