Left a hedge fund recently where I had been working for a year in solely an execution role. Previously, I ran a equity prop desk at a major bank. Would like to recreate this former set-up with a firm that would provide capital for a low risk strategy that will produce much in the way of business. My records are verifiable. I want to go somewhere where the majority of the traders are making money and the firm is making money based on the performance of the trading desk rather than the commissions generated. I am very leery of any capital contribution, it seems these firms will take just about anyone. Any thoughts. Thanks.
