I have noticed that when I set the background to the usual black chart, it's not really "eye friendly" for me. I like the way it looks, but seems to strain my eyes. Have you heard that from others? I like this background. Seems easier on the eyes. Is there a background color that's "recommended" by many for long hours of use that's "eye friendly" in your opinion?
my laptop is already an LED 1920 by 1200, so I would prefer a companion monitor to be of the same res. I don't do any gaming(unfortunately). But I do spend about 8 hours a day writing code. I've always felt that higher resolution was easier on the eyes, but maybe I will have to break down and get a 1080 for now.
I use a gray background wherever possible. I actually hate websites that set the background to white instead of allowing the users default background. I wonder if there is an exporer add-on to overcome this. Anyone heard of one?
Apple's 24" Cinema is 1920x1200. I've got an older 23" model, about 5 years old now that's still as bright as the day I bought it. Wish I would have picked up a few more when they transitioned over to the glossy screens. The 30" is still matte and is 2560x1600.
i've been using ThinkVision L2440x which is in your price range. it's better than dell's LED backlight screen.
Hey there... did u have any luck finding the LED at 1920x1200? I found one in asia in that resolution at 24" !!! Their 27" is a whopping 2560x1440... basically the same thing as the Apple displays, but got PC's... looked awesome... USA is so slow to get these cool electronics, like TV's and phones as well.
