Look at this vile propaganda from GM

  1. didnt Ford spin off about $24 per share a number of years back?

    that cash should have been used to clean up their balance sheet and fund better vision forward

    spinning off that much cash, then passing the hat to the taxpayer is outright theft, plain and simple

    i see a bailout for automakers as being more legit than the financials (AIG in particular), but i'm against all bailouts

    The Big 3 are fundementally #@^%ed. To keep them afloat would take yearly bailouts.

    If we bailout the automakers every year, then everybody else will also be asking for bailouts. We'll be bailing out companies right and left. Scumsuckers will write Get Bailouts as their final step in their get rich quick plan. Who cares about taking on too much risk if the taxpayers are right there to pony up if everything goes bad?

  5. We gave them 25B last year to retool their assembly lines for more efficient cars. No idea what happened to that money - the 09s look to me like the same shit the 08s were.

    Wherever you are - look closely at what's really coming out of your senator's/congressman's mouth in the papers - you can see a lot of them are setting up to join BushPelosi and give them the money.

  6. If I lose $100k trading, will the government give me a bailout? I'll keep losing money, ask for more money, and then when I profit $1 million, I'll keep it.

    If GM went bankrupt, would it still operate? Could it shed all the union obligations? Could it shed all the pensions? What would really happen?

  8. How likely is it that Pelosi and Obama will sign on for a bailout package that screws unions, one of their core financial supporters? This should be called the UAW bailout, because that's what it will be.

  9. this i can assure you

    that they're taking part of the bailout money, putting it on K street to put concessions, bit by bit, hidden in unrelated bills, so that when and if they do ever turn a profit

    they dont have to pay back a cent

    count on it

    and a lot of the rest of the bailout will be used to move the businesses overseas

    taxpayer = CHUMP
