ok boomer: https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/5/1/eaau4586 Less than you think: Prevalence and predictors of fake news dissemination on Facebook Overall, sharing articles from fake news domains was a rare activity. We find some evidence that the most conservative users were more likely to share this content—the vast majority of which was pro-Trump in orientation—than were other Facebook users, although this is sensitive to coding and based on a small number of respondents. Our most robust finding is that the oldest Americans, especially those over 65, were more likely to share fake news to their Facebook friends. This is true even when holding other characteristics—including education, ideology, and partisanship—constant. No other demographic characteristic seems to have a consistent effect on sharing fake news, making our age finding that much more notable.
Jussie is only being charged with Disorderly Conduct. No hate crime. no terroristic threat or white powder mentioned. So, one year prison sentence commuted to probation and community service. Dude tried to start a race war. Un-fucking-believable. This is what passes for justice in Chicago.
don't be a drama queen & fall for fake news, at worst, dude wanted the spot light & a boost to a fledgling career
Good. This story can be used as fodder for Trump as he campaigns against his Democrat Presidential opponent: “This is the world as Democrats see it”... I can probably come up with a great debate question on this subject pointing out to viewers where the rubber hits the road on Smollett’s crimes. The Democrat candidate would probably find it difficult to navigate a well asked question without either offending his base or independents.
Most people have careers and families and don’t care or have time for this crap. Priorities are what matter. You on the other hand have zero going on so you focus on this shit.
Holy hypocrisy, honey. Your typical one-liner put down posts somehow equate to “Priorities that matter” in your world? There is an important election coming up. The outcome you are hoping for is actually not the outcome you want in the long run. At least try to figure it out, please. As far as my own situation, I’m doing quite nicely, thanks. But don’t worry, another extended break from ET is in the works, as I only have two major posts to go. p.s. Say no to cheap tricks!
I actually don’t know much about Bloomberg other than he is a billionaire media mogul and he seems sharp. Sharper than any other Democratic candidate, maybe even Trump. Not sure how I feel about his media background, but having a business background is a big plus. Why do you like Bloomberg?
What do you mean media background? He’s the only one that can beat Donald and He’s a successful businessman and did a decent job running NYC. Bloomberg/Trump debates will be epic. The rest of the lot are clowns.
I just realized several things about Bloomberg/Trump: 1. I can’t think of any mulligans a mainstream voter would have to give Bloomberg before considering him, unlike all the other candidates, including Trump. 2. Bloomberg actually does seem to have formidable character. 3. Bloomberg could bring credibility back to the Democratic Party. He would need to take over leadership and be heavy handed initially and weed out the criminal Radical Left types and implement structural reforms to address endemic corruption and incompetence. 4. Even if I were to favor Bloomberg over Trump, I might still vote for Trump out of loyalty for the critical things he has done for us. In addition, I feel voting for Trump and him getting reelected would buy him 4 more years from prosecution(Persecution) from Democrats. Now if Bloomberg were to provide assurances that Trump would not be prosecuted if he were elected and I otherwise felt he was the most qualified for president, I would definitely vote for him. The key indicator of Bloomberg being qualified is ripping the Democratic Party a new one publicly and list appropriate changes that he will require them to make. Yes, I agree with you Bloomberg/Trump debates would be epic.
