I'm looking to go short on a certain stock without having to short the dividends but am unsure about the best method to do so. CFD seems suitable but a long term hold could stack up the interest. From my understanding long term options are expensive and futures can be dangerous the position goes against me. The dilemma here is that I am confident on the short but I don't know how long it will take to play out. Thanks in advance.
