Is it possible to have a long-only strategy that makes money even in a down market?
Of course, but your timing has got to be on the money.
No you dont need very good timing
Juy the dips
I recently posted some basic wealth-lab scans that point to strong results buying vs. selling in downward market.
Take it for what it's worth.
Yep it really is that simple. in an uptrending market buy dips.
Research Thomas Bulkowski. He uses a "long only" strategy.
In an uptrending market one can buy at any price and still make money.
The question was could a long only system do well in a DOWNTRENDING market.
Look at the equity graphs I posted . The greatest return was during 2000-2002 bear market.
