%% COULD look@ it that way, i'm not long or short that one. I dont use subjective measures like bubble, over sold or overbought, fine if you do YTD ,AMZN = up 59.98%/QLD= up 85.47% with about 4% AMZN. ALL the big tech co tend to have HI /PE; I'm not buyin' the whole co, so i also dont care about a high book value. Lo pe tends to go lower, \DIA\DOW= underperformer. I seldom do single stocks; i do like hi PE stocks in a good ETF.....
So is a 5 YO - don't believe me - print out a chart..., show it to any 5 YO - ask them which way price is moving Traders know how to leverage said setups You more like an analyst Hunting this weekend - trust you didn't lie to me RN
Ehh, maybe. How long are you holding it for? When I gather everything on this thread, I get: PE > 100 market cap > 100b up at least 40% YTD Had a day worse than 50% of its peers in technology. When I backtest this for a weekly holding period, I see that when it strikes it looks good. If you loosen the market cap restriction to 20b, you get more volatility, but much better results: When I go back to 2000, I get nice performance when it finds anything: So, yeah, I guess that is a good set up. But don't hold it too long (monthly rebalance chart below): All the images were made with Equities Lab, which screens and backtests baskets of US equities.
