Loners get easily suckered into daytrading?

    Groups can't be all bad, right?

    Goldman Sachs does not hire a group of traders to sit at home by themselves. They have a trading desk. They have manager meetings.

    They seem to have grown nicely?

    But there is something cute about sitting home half naked with a beer and making money.

    I would love to get into trading but I have only met one person, (a guy who lives down the road who lost his job a year and a half ago) who is actually making some money day trading.

    He only made $17,000 but I understand most people lose.

    Any comments by experienced traders in this room?

    maybe people use the site for research and development before they start to trade. isn't this site for 'training' and education?
