Yeah, landed there, spent the night on Syntagma Square, did a several day road trip around the Peloponnese, back to Athens and stayed the night at the Alimos marina, boat trip around the Saronic Islands, back to another night in Alimos, spent the next day kicking around Pireas waiting for a ferry, a week in Hydra, ferry back to Pireas.... so pretty much spent at least a little time in most of the neighborhoods of Athens, including those not usually considered the tourists traps (saw those on another trip) and of course you know Syntagma is the hotspot of any unrest in the city. And what do you know, no riots. The rest of Greece, of course quite as a churchmouse. What part of Athens where you hanging out in when you saw these non-stop riots? Do you realize you're prone to hyperbole and it makes people ignore any good content you have to convey, just as an FYI?
He never left the UK. He was only reading tabloids when he went to the hairdresser. No, he does not realize that. Too full (or fool?) of being British that he lost all objectivity. To do as Visaria does: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/cri...-month-shocking-new-figures-show-8681511.html https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...-violent-crime-wave-grows-even-faster-london/ https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/81044...ttacks-after-first-knife-death-in-camberwell/ I can find dozens of them. But when I was in London last Christmas I saw no knife attacks at all. Newpapers only report spectacular things and blow them up out of proportion to sell more newspapers.
From your favourite left wing newspaper: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ted-french-police-gilets-jaunes-protest-paris "The French authorities said a total of 50,000 protesters took part in an eighth successive weekend of demonstrations across the country." But of course, it didn't happen since you didn't witness it lol. Or maybe the newspaper exaggerated it even though the French govt confirms 50k protesters.
UK does not seem to be a paradise too, at least not for politicians as is explained today on the BBC: 60MP's ask protection against protesters. But at least they are not stabbed with knifes (yet...). You can find problems in ANY country and magnificent things too. So with Google or Youtube you can "proof" anything. That's also the reason why Putin likes these social media so much. Everything posted is considered as true. Social media created a virtual world. It has become one huge manipulation. "We send every week 350 million to Europe" was a lie too. The man who invented and lead the Brexit campaign admitted that already.
Depends on definition. £350 million is the gross amount sent to Brussels. The EU sends some back in terms of grants and subsidies etc. After that is taken account of, the net contribution is £250 million a week. Which is £10.5 billion a year.
So the statement is a lie. Even 250 million is a lie if you take in account all economical benefits. You should take the whole picture. And apparently 99% of people have no clue about the real "cost", which is a statement made by Dominic Cummings who is pro brexit. Watch this video from youtube. As it is on youtube it is true according to you. All Americans should move to the UK!
Nope. Over £10 billion a year. We could just take that money and spent it on any industries that are affected by a no deal brexit. Btw, can you name me another 'free' trade area in the world where a member pays £10 billion a year to be in the club. Does the US pay to be a member of NAFTA or USMCA as it will now be known? I notice how the videos and links that you post are deemed as 'truth' by you whereas everything else which doesn't subscribe to your view is Putin propaganda. ROFL.
Nearly half of managers plan to leave U.K. post-Brexit — survey Almost 50% of money and wealth managers surveyed by professional services firm EY confirmed or stated their intention to move operations to Europe from the U.K. as a result of Brexit. (Pensions & Investments)
Does anyone actually have a big bet on GBP (in either direction)? schweiz, are you short GBP? If not, why not? Visaria, are you long GBP?
