    I don't live in the UK so I'm alright. :D

    Let me guess:That German chief economist from the Deutsche bank knows perfectly what will happen, the British have no clue?
    Right? :cool:

    I am sure there will be good and bad surprises for all parties. Being British will not change that or protect them.

    If the EU really wants they can build in a short time a big financial center. If the EU wants to work thru some EU center, counterparties will have no problem with that. I never heard about financial institutions that refused a deal because it was not done in London. They want to make deals and money, no matter where the client resides.

    Nobody is indispensable, the graveyard is full of people that thought they were indispensable. But the world still exists, even without them.

    If ever the EU would decide to do so, London will lose at least part of their business forever. The EU will never go back. It is a huge gamble the UK takes.

    Immigrants contributed £20bn to the UK between 2000-2011, paying 64% more in taxes than they received in benefits. Study by UCL Professor Christian Dustmann and Dr Tommaso Frattini, published by the Royal Economic Society in The Economic Journal. https://www.ucl.ac.uk/news/2014/nov/p...

    Yawn... the UK can block EU banks and institutions from accessing London markets.

    Game over for EU.

    The End.

    EU in its current form faces too many existential threats. They need to reform swiftly in order to survive. Portugal and Estonia cannot possibly to look at things and agree on everything. Given the number of entities multiplied by the number of disagreements it is no wonder how dysfunctional it is. Russians are very crafty to capitalise on the existing rifts and putting new wedges there and, most importantly, to time them very well.
    As for the fairy tales about the best healthcare in the world, leave this stuff to them marines.

    Yes, it's the Final Countdown for the EU! (This is what happens when you name a continent after a rock group!)

    Dude, dude, dude...they would have already done that if they could....why wait for Brexit? Should have built one in the last century...in a short time to boot! The reality is that they know no one will trade there so why bother.

    You really have funny ideas, i'll give you that :D

    WTF does this even mean? If you are going to waste your time posting, please at least post coherent English, not gobbledegook.

    Great minds discuss ideas;
    average minds discuss events;
    small minds discuss people.

    PS: How many languages do you speak? Probably two: english and gobbledegook.
