London firm: Tibra Trading

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by softdown, Apr 22, 2008.

  1. Hy guys,

Got an interview with Tibra Trading in London.
They say 30 mins maths and 1 hour logic tests.
Could anyone tell what they are about, or how to practice for them.
And b.t.w. what kind of trading they do ?

So you have an interview with a firm but have no information about what they actually do? That's a worrying start. This link may help you a bit. Sounds like a decent firm.

  3. Ha, ha that made me laugh :D

Thanks for link, it answered my question about their trading style.

I would need some practice for the tests. I am not too worried about the logic tests (should I be ?).
What about the arithmetic tests ? Do they involve big numbers ?

  4. Anyone ?
Maybe you can share some info on similar firms like Optiver, etc..

Umm. I don't want to come off sounding like an arse, but if your concern is about the size of the numbers as oppossed to the mathematical operations you will be putting those numbers through then Yes, I do think you should be worried.
