You are framing the issue and it is misleading [although I find myself agreeing with Trump on this issue]. Just like you can combat obesity by exercising or eating better, you are saying exercise more so you can eat all you want.

The Bern wants to do away with silly wars to being with - eat right first in the above analogy and the need to exercise to keep weight to normal levels goes dramatically down. That would reduce defense spending and allow us to divert tax dollars to positive societal needs instead of killing people.

Remember, the Bern has a voting record on these issues going back decades, not wave your hands in the air and say whatever you want to pander to get elected.

So on this one, I would say resoundingly, the Bern.

  2. OK, you have a point on defense spending. But congress is not likely to agree with cutting it drastically, or cutting it at all, so this is another of his pie in the sky ideas that have zero chance of happening. And I doubt he is going to demand that the euro's start pulling their own weight.

Still, Trump and Bernie are the only two I trust not to get us involved in crazy stuff in the middle east and elsewhere. We'res till pissing away billions in Afghanistan. Like with vietnam back in the day, there comes a point when they have to take responsibility for their own country or suffer the consequences. It's not like they are being invaded by some foreign power.

I'm amazed that republicans openly discuss stealing the nomination from the candidate who won the primaries.

If they don't realize the permanent damage they are causing with that dialog they are incompetent.

If they do realize the permanent damage they are causing with that dialog and don't care they are negligent.

I had to renew my drivers license this week and this state registers voters via the license renewal process. I registered Democrat. Nice work Republicans!

You have to go to MSN to find this. FOX and CNN may have it,but it is burried. Keep the sheep from seeing the truth:

Trump: Primary process 'corrupt' on both sides

"Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday said the primary process on both the Republican and Democratic sides is corrupt.

Trump referenced Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who has won eight of the past nine Democratic contests, noting that people still say he doesn't have a path to the nomination.

"I watch Bernie. He wins, he wins, he keeps winning, winning and winning and then I see he's got no chance. They always say he's got no chance. Why doesn't he have a chance?" Trump asked during a rally in Rochester, N.Y.

"Because the system is corrupt. And it's worse on the Republican side."

    Trump called the system "crooked."

"I'm not a fan of Bernie, I couldn't care less as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't care less about Bernie, but he wins and he wins, like me.".."

  6. If Ryan is nominated as the Republican presidential candidate and if you're not in the top tax bracket or apart of the oil and defense industry, in other words, if you're a regular Joe, is there still a reason to vote Republican in the upcoming general election?

If I were a Trump supporter, I would like to see him lose about 30 lbs. No denying he has energy, but by the way he moves, it looks like he has knee problems. So getting exercise might be tough.

Hire a trainer and go in the Trump Tower pool and burn some calories doing low impact training. Hire a top notch cook. And stay away from the Big Gulps! :D

  10. Where I live, in Colorado, we can also register as "unafilliated", Libertarian and perhaps something other besides DemoCrap or RepubliClown. I'm unafilliated, so I don't get to vote in the primary. Doubt I'm missing out on anything, however... seems that privilege no longer has meaning in this state.
