Livermore, Tudor Jones and Cohen

  1. Standard, pls pay no mind to the trolls. They come out of the woodwork here on ET as they apparently have nothing better to do.

  2. Looks like you find the monthly/weekly trend and make bets.

I like the CECO short. Ready for a tank.

  3. Another great day SO!

I'm beginning to see a pattern.

Find a stock that had a relatively strong trend day with increasing volume but not too extended.

Go with the direction of the trend the next day.

Can you give any more details of what you're looking for?

  4. To be fair I've decided to only count the

    Percentage off Open:

    TC -5.56%
    BNS -2.59%
    CHD +.04%
    TD -3.47%
    SHFL -4.14%
    CECO -2.61%

I did not end up taking the BOH long but it worked out ok +1.04%

CECO, TD and BNS left open the rest closed end of day

  5. Indeed, great start so far SO!

As 1daytrader already noted, I do see a repetitive pattern among your short candidates. Although it would be nice if you could disclose a few snippets of information, I won't begrudge you for being a scrooge. :D

But what do Livermore, Tudor Jones and Cohen exactly have in common other than the fact that they're exceptional traders?

One more: do you incorporate technical analysis in your strategy, such as moving averages and oscillators?

I look forward to your future posts.

  9. He is 'giving' them before open, why does he need to babysit the calls 'for us' realtime

Because where you enter and where you exit in the only thing that matters. I dont know how you would think otherwise.
