you have just illustrated one of the most important factors in trading profitably! many times and more often than not, an astute trader would just have to do what you illustrated in your video which is.... sitting on your hand and foot, awaiting your very special setup to formulate first....!!!! thx for the video. my hat is tipped. have a safe and happy holidays.... and all your trading followers as well. chow
Thank you for your words=) Actually my results finally became positive only after I stopped jumping from one setup to another and realized that it is not so hard to find a setup, but what was (and still is) difficult for me is not to take something you do not have to trade if you do not see your setup. For example it was a great seduce to trade today and put something in a pocket before the weekends, but after 10-15 minutes of watching the market I made myself to close the terminal and go do some other stuff, though it was hard=) Do not want to seem a guru as I am only starting the trading path and keep in mind everything can change in a moment and I have to accept it, these are just my humble thoughts that helped me at least till now. Wish you happy holidays as well, have really nice weekends=)
Hi all! Here is my trading record for today. This is a day I am not pleased at all as missed good entries=( Nevertheless I am not waiting for amazing results as the volume is so small these days. Hope my mistakes may be useful for you=)
just stopping by to see how my trading comrade is doing nowadays. was a little shock to hear that a gap up day today and you'll only go long...? did you hear that gaps up or down will be filled today, tomorrow, and if not, then it will be filled the next day or someday.... AND listening to you explaining how you would pick your trade (today anyway), concerned me a little that you are so subjective in selecting your entry....? aren't there any more definitives or more objective selections in your trading arsenals to pick an entry with more probability of being on the right side of the trade? just ask ok, not mean to argue or put down, alright? wishing you very joyous holiday season!
Hi! It seems I have completely wrong explanation in a video. Yes, I know, daps are ususally closed. But usually as I see it a stock with a gap can have a nice momentum in the direction of the gap first 30 minutes of trading day. I take long for stocks with gap up and short for stocks with gaps down. And I take them only if they show good movement towards gap direction. As I trade only first 30 minutes I usually have some opportunities. The reason I was looking for longs today was not because market gapped up but because there were no stocks with gaps down today that suited me. And about trade entry — maybe it seems subjective in the video, but actually I have quite s strict list of rules that I follow. If you could tell me why they look subjective I would be grateful to you — so I would give better explanations or maybe look at my trading from the other side=) Thanks, hope you have nice holiday as well!
