I'm +45 on the dow +6 on the dax which is a bit annoying because it went down lots after I closed it. Reason for closing it was I was right in that the es/dow did shoot up as expected, although I was wrong about it dragging the dax up with it. Dax ignored the rally currently losing small on the dax and on the spx which i'm holding over night.. Expecting another big push up soon on the dow/spx. They certainly aon't gonna 'crash' anytime soon ,lol
What happened to this trade? I've got the SPX hitting a low of 2475.04, and since you're doing that CFD thing, the spread might have taken you out, no?
Why would you even close this trade out? From my limited knowledge of options, something like this should just be held to expiry, no? With a stop at 0.50 and entry at 1.87, it seems like you're saying that you're willing to lose over 70%, yet don't want to lose it all which makes no sense to me because you've already lost so much that you might as well just see if you can pull out a magic last minute recovery. I mean if you were going to play it tight, that is one thing, but to let it go so far against you, when you know the max you can lose anyway since its an option, makes no sense to me. Am I missing something?
Yep. Looks like I was stopped shortly after tmy post - And then it's rallied lol -40 close to getting back in here. Expecting another decent run up soon
