Just noticed that ES did hit a low of 2472.00 during the overnight session. This is of course still 1 tick shy of your stop, but I do wonder how these numbers work for you given that you're using a UK broker that is doing that spread betting thing. The spread for you is I think much larger during the overnight session, and sometimes with stops, the ask or bid only has to hit your stop price, and it doesn't even have to trade there for the stop to actually be triggered. I wonder if you can comment. Perhaps with this one you're trading the ES futures outright as opposed to the spread betting thing when you posted trades for YM?
I got stopped as I played it on the CFD. edit ps - shame as i would still be in if it wa the outright future. that's the price of playing in a tax free spreadbet, not recommended unless you are very confident you can overcome the spread.
