This is the trade where he multiplies points by units traded:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Quote from JimmyJam:

    Total = 5.4 pts ERU x 3 = 16.2 pts ERU
    1 pt = $100, so that's 1,620
    1,620 = 32.4 pts ES
    32.4 pts - 12pts ES = 20.4 pts ES
    ***
Current Total = 38.4 pts ES

    Gotta go to work .

    Best Regards,

    JJ

Now, why would you call me dumb for quoting you?! Surely that means that in actual fact you are dumb for calling yourself dumb as you are the one that has multiplied units traded by points gained.

And here is my PnL using JJ's tactics:

    1 trade

    +2 points x 10 lots = +20pts
    +6.25 points x 5 lots = +31.25pts
    +7.75 points x 5 lots = +38.75pts

    2 trade

    +0.5 points x 30 lots = +15pts

    3 trade

    -2.25pts x 15 lots = -33.75pts

    Total after 3 realised trades:

    71.25 points

  3. Here is the complete spreadsheet, with all of the analysis and calculations and logic involved ... and to think I did this in matter of seconds when I was in the trade.

OK, I'm no longer angry with you son, I realize that you really don't understand any of what I am doing.

Please don't pursue this matter any further, you have been proven wrong on every single salient issue involved, you just aren't in my analytical league (hey, that's OK, I'm not ashamed to admit that the weekend I spent trying to understand riskarb's writings gave me a headache) and you have, in the process, shown the entire ET community that you are nowhere near the trader that you think you are.

    I'm signing-off now, I'm done.

    Peace,

    Jimmy Jam

P.S. Please ask Austin P, or B1S2 or Gary to review the math with you if need be.

P.P.S. I see you've re-run your trades using the money management algo that Austin P mentioned (that's what I'm using here btw), now you see how powerful it can be ... but let's see you implment it in real-time. :D

You know what you are doing? You are purposefully ignoring questions asked. I am not talking about ER into ES conversion from $ value, I don't know how to make it more clear. I'll try to attract your attention though.

YOU HAVE MULTIPLIED POINTS GAIN BY UNITS TRADED. 5.4 POINTS *3 UNITS. THAT HAS GIVEN YOU 16.2 POINTS, WHEN IN ACTUAL FACT YOU STILL ONLY HAVE 5.4 POINTS PER UNIT. THAT WAS DONE TO BETTER THE STATS ON A TRADE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED OUT AT 733.60 AS YOU HAVE STIPULATED OPENING THE TRADE.

    Here we go yet again.

    Why did you mention 733.60?

  7. The trade wasn't stopped out.

You have paid a lot of attention to a contract which you've probably never traded, using a money management theorem which you do not understand.

If you paid 1/2 this amount of attention to your own trading, I seriously doubt you would have lost that $10,000 on that overnight trade that went agrgregiously against you ... or puked on a trade which then turned around and went 20 pts ES in your original direction, after talking up your trading theory et al in just such a stubborn fashion (and I told you it was too early to close the position ... then again, I also told you to stop blogging so much also).

You should concentrate on yourself son, you need a lot of work, concentrate on yourself.

I've recalculated your PnL using simple calculation of your posted entries and stops.

    1ER -1 (-2ES)
    3ER -1*3=-3 (-6ES)
    1ER -1 (-2ES)
    3ER -0.4*3=-1.2 (-2.4ES)
    3ER -1*3=-3 (-6ES)
    3ER +4.4*3=+13.2 (+26.4ES)

PnL: +4ER (+8ES) Looks different from your calculation I believe.

Very good, but here is the same PnL taking into consideration THE 733.60 stop, which was not taken.

    1ER -1 (-2ES)
    3ER -1*3=-3 (-6ES)
    1ER -1 (-2ES)
    3ER -0.4*3=-1.2 (-2.4ES)
    3ER -1*3=-3 (-6ES)
    3ER -1*3=-3 (-6ES)

    PnL: -12.2ER (-24.4ES)

And your errors in maths prove that you are just paper trading, as the actual gain on your last short is 4.4pts ER, not 5.4, but you post your PnL wrong twice.

    1. by claiming +5.4 point gain in ER, when it should be +4.4;
    2. by posting your gain of $1,620, when it should have been 1,320, if you were looking at your platform's PnL;

JJ, I told you before, after years of running a business, I can smell bullshit pretty well, now you are just trying too hard to find excuses. Face the facts!

  10. You've proven that:

    1. You don't know the importance of not trading during a narrow range day.

    2. So therefore, you don't know the importance of holding your trade the market is trending, you got a big 4 pts out a day that the ES trended, what +15 - +18 pts? ... you did that all by yourself (I wasn't around you, that's fer sure) and other traders even commented on it, at which point other folks had to come to your defense :p .

    3. You aren't very good with math, so you certainly aren't very good with doing math on the fly when in a trade.

    4. You like to puke on trades that then move strongly in the direction of your trade.

    5. You like to hold trades which move a massive amount against your position (uh, I'm sorry, but losing $10,000 on a trade is just plain, well, there's that word again ... dumb).

    6. Oh, and might you be a little stubborn?

Spend some of that money on a couch kiddo, or maybe this little lady can help you. http://www.tradingontarget.com/ ... and please, stop all this blogging, because it's not helping.

Always a friend when you need one,
